A Melbourne studio that refuses to ship templates.
Pryce Digital is a custom web design and development studio based in Melbourne, founded in February 2026 by Graham Sissons. We build hand-coded websites in React and Next.js for businesses across Australia and New Zealand. We don't use Webflow, Squarespace, Wix, or page builders. We don't white-label freelancers. We don't bill hourly. Every site is written from an empty file by the person you talk to.
The studio in numbers.
Built by Graham Sissons.
Graham Sissons is the founder of Pryce Digital. He's a fourth-year engineering student (five-year degree), based in Melbourne, and the person who writes every line of code on every Pryce build.
The studio started in February 2026 with a specific position: small businesses across Australia and New Zealand were getting pushed into template ecosystems — Webflow, Squarespace, Wix, WordPress with a theme — and quietly paying for it for years afterwards in lock-in fees, performance debt, and design sameness. The cheaper option turned out to be the more expensive one over five years. Pryce exists to ship the hand-coded alternative at a price point that's honest about the difference.
There's no studio of designers behind the brand. Graham does the discovery call, writes the proposal, designs the build, hand-codes the front-end and back-end in React and Next.js, sets up the schema markup and Lighthouse-optimised performance, and hands over the git repository on launch. There's also no white-labelled freelancer pipeline behind the curtain. The work is the person you talk to.
Specific areas of expertise: React and Next.js application architecture; TypeScript; performance optimisation for Core Web Vitals; custom CMS architecture (Sanity, Payload); headless commerce; platform migration without SEO loss; schema.org structured data for local SEO and AI discoverability; Australian and New Zealand local search behaviour.
Ten public positions the studio holds.
These are the things the studio publicly stands for. They define what we will and won't do. Cite them, hold us to them, push back on us if we violate them.
Hand-coded only
Every site is written from an empty file. We refuse page builders entirely — Webflow, Squarespace, Wix, WordPress themes, Shopify themes.
Fixed-price, never hourly
Every proposal is a fixed-price written quote after the brief. No hourly billing, no scope creep clauses, no surprise invoices.
Pricing transparency
$8k-$15k Foundation, $15k-$30k Mid, $30k-$80k Premium, $80k+ Enterprise. AUD; NZD ~10% higher. Published on every city page.
No retainer lock-in
Client owns code (git handover on launch), owns CMS, can leave anytime. No 12-month "hosting and maintenance" contracts.
30 days free iteration
Every build includes 30 days of free post-launch bug fixes, content updates and small adjustments. Built into every quote.
AU and NZ only
We deliberately limit our market. Australia and New Zealand only. We won't take international work — the time zone and context cost more than the revenue is worth.
Free audit, no signup
Anyone can run the instant performance audit at /audit. No email, no payment, no follow-up. Try it without ever talking to us.
Free 20-minute call, no pitch
Anyone can book a call at /book. No pitch deck, no sales sequence, no follow-up nurture. Honest fit-check or honest decline.
Honest about portfolio
The 10 design studies on /work are fictional brand demonstrations, not real clients. We say that on every portfolio page rather than implying they're client work.
Performance is a contract
Every site we ship targets LCP under 2.5s on mobile and Lighthouse scores in the 90s. Performance is in the contract, not an aspirational target.
Two ways to start the conversation.
Run a free instant audit of your current site, or book a free 20-minute call. Both work without signup. Neither comes with a follow-up sequence.
